Microsoft loves to keep us on our toes with its ever-changing system requirements. And they’ve done it again, this time with Windows 11.
Back in June they updated the list of supported processors from AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm. Now they’ve given us another surprise update. This time, 44 types of Intel processors are no longer supported.
But don’t panic. Microsoft assures us these changes should have ‘little to no impact’ on the average Windows 11 user. Plus, the dropped processors are from the company’s server range.
But this change is still significant. Why? Because it’s a reminder that keeping your business’s tech up-to-date is crucial. Today’s cutting-edge processor will eventually be tomorrow’s unsupported hardware.
If you want my team to check your hardware, that’s no problem – just get in touch.
