Here’s some good news: Windows 11 is about to get even more awesome.
You know how your trusty Snipping Tool has been capturing screen grabs for you, one snip at a time? Well, it’s getting a major upgrade. ‘Text Actions’ is a game-changing feature that lets you copy and paste text straight from a screenshot. Clever, right?
A new ‘Quick Redact’ function lets you hide sensitive information directly in the screenshot. No more awkward scribbles over confidential data.
And guess what? Your Android devices and PC are about to become BFFs, thanks to Windows 11’s Phone Link feature. Syncing has never been this easy.
Now let’s talk about the Photos app. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, a new Background Blur option is being added based on feedback. Want to make your subject pop by blurring out the background? Done! Need to control the intensity of the blur or select specific areas to blur? They’ve got you.
And here’s the cherry on top – the new ‘Content Search’ capability for photos backed up on OneDrive. Using advanced image detection software, Microsoft will now scan and label your photos with searchable tags. You can even search for photos based on location, across local files, OneDrive, and Apple’s iCloud.
Microsoft is clearly working tirelessly to make our lives easier one update at a time. And as a business owner, that’s music to my ears – it should be to yours too.
