‘Alexa… set a reminder for 30 mins to turn on the porch lights’.
‘OK. I’ll remind you to start your Porsche in 13 minutes’.
Sigh…
Ever wished for a workplace assistant that could do more than just set the wrong reminders? Your wish is about to come true. Salesforce and Google Workspace have announced a partnership that hopes to transform your work experience.
They’re going to integrate their AI assistants.
The goal?
To create connected AI experiences across Salesforce 360 and Google Workspace.
Imagine this: You’re working on a presentation in Google Slides. But instead of manually inputting data, your AI assistant pulls relevant account, contact, and opportunity data from Salesforce, generating customised content.
Or you’re drafting an email in Gmail, and your AI assistant helps write personalised messages to clients or leads.
But that’s not all. Google Meet summaries and context from Gmail and Google Calendar can be brought into Salesforce. This means you can update records and trigger workflows with ease. Picture saving a signed contract to Salesforce and closing the opportunity with a win-loss report generated in Docs.
And here’s the cherry on top: Salesforce is the first partner for Google Workspace’s new Duet AI extensions framework. This means people can access both services, offering even greater convenience and efficiency.
What do you think… will it work as seamlessly as they say it will?
